5- 6-2026: As predicted, our Alaskan trip with Olivia Travel was incredible - breathtaking scenery, cooperative weather and memories we won't soon forget. Our favorite port was actually Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where the lively downtown and bus driver's enthusiasm for the region's mild winters had us seriously reconsidering our relationship with snow shovels.

As a new author, I'll admit to a fair amount of anxiety leading up to the book release event for Her Compass Was a Woman. It still feels surreal that we got published alongside so many talented authors in this travel anthology from Sapphire Books (available on Amazon). Elyse had to nudge me toward the signing tables, but once I got there, I loved every conversation.

Thanks to Sapphire Books for putting together such thoughtful events - they've inspired us to keep pushing forward on our Pine Grove series.

Feeling grateful,

Nomi
